I’m Zoe, a Tulane School of Architecture graduate with a dual degree in Design and Marketing, working as the Branding & Content Coordinator at a small startup creative marketing agency in NYC.
I could talk about attending school in New Orleans for literal years. I truly immersed myself in the rich, beautiful, and (lovingly) wacky culture of the city, which without a doubt inspired me to pursue my love of design as a career.
While I consider myself a creative, I also deeply enjoy strategy, project management, operations, and client relations. My favorite college professors were architects, and they taught me the value of thoroughly planning every detail before starting a project. This skill has proven invaluable in creating systems and staying organized at a small company.
My drive to create extends beyond work: I love planning elaborate meals on a tight budget (hah), collaging with the excess of papers/old work/takeout bags I have collected at the bottom of my closet, and attempting to convince my book club to read a good book for once. I also recently began running a Homebrew DND game with my college friends (Dungeons & Dragons for the uninformed, but I promise it’s not weird).
I hope to find myself at an award-winning indie branding studio or advertising agency one day, so unless you’ve got a lead, I’ll keep chugging along until I get there.
